Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Integration Subject Matter Expert to support a modernization program delivering a modular software suite across warfighting functions. The role acts as the technical authority for seamless software and data service integration in cloud and tactical edge environments, including DDIL operations, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems integration or software engineering.
• 3+ years defending, military, or interagency programs at operational/acquisition level.
• Experience designing/executing complex integrations across multi-vendor/multi-domain environments.
• Proficient in API development, interface control documentation, data exchange standards.
• Experience with SAFe/Scrum/Kanban; CI/CD and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and data security in classified/multi-domain networks.
• Experience integrating cloud and tactical edge platforms in DDIL settings.
• Background in MBSE and MIL-STD 2525 interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration planning, design, and execution across cloud and tactical edge environments.
• Translate integration requirements into interface control documents, API specifications, and data exchange agreements.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Government stakeholders, vendors, and development teams.
• Evaluate and validate platform integration capabilities including data onboarding and normalization, credential authority, object databases, API performance.
• Support development and validation of tactical edge configurations for DDIL environments.
• Participate in product demonstrations, design reviews, and agile development cycles.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to identify and mitigate integration risks and gaps.
