Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer (Finance) to join the DRIVE OS team. You will collaborate across software, hardware, safety, and product groups to translate complex requirements into system designs and robust software architectures.

The role focuses on vehicle interfaces, network topology, data flows, and AI-powered automation to improve engineering efficiency. Ideal candidates have strong C/C++ skills, experience with embedded/RTOS environments, and a track record in AI

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software or systems engineering experience.
• Strong C and C++ programming skills across design, development, integration, and debugging.
• Experience with Linux, QNX, Android or other embedded/RTOS environments.
• Experience developing or integrating AI-powered tools or automation into workflows.
• Familiarity with modern AI development tools, APIs, scripting languages, and agent-based automation.
• Ability to work independently and with multi-functional teams in a dynamic setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software, hardware, safety, and product teams to translate requirements into system designs.
• Design and develop solutions for vehicle interface abstraction, network topology, data flow, and time synchronization.
• Develop and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance.
• Design, deploy, and improve AI agents and AI-assisted workflows to automate engineering tasks.
• Identify opportunities to apply generative AI and agentic workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Debug complex system-level issues spanning software, OS, networking, middleware, and hardware interfaces.
• Collaborate across teams to test and deliver robust capabilities on DRIVE OS.
