Job summary
NVIDIA Corporation seeks a hands-on Systems and Software Platform Engineer to advance the DRIVE OS platform for autonomous driving. You will work across software, hardware, safety, and product teams to design system-level architectures, interfaces, and AI-powered automation for engineering tasks.
Responsibilities include developing and optimizing architectures, debugging cross-layer issues, and delivering robust platform capabilities that enable smart, safe, and scalable self-driving
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant software or systems engineering experience.
- Strong C and C++ programming skills across software layers.
- Experience with Linux, QNX, Android, or similar RTOS.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and agent-based automation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software, hardware, safety, and product teams to translate requirements into system designs.
- Design and develop solutions for vehicle interface abstraction and system-topology.
- Develop, document, implement, and optimize software architectures for real-world performance.
- Design, deploy, and improve AI agents and workflows that automate engineering tasks.
- Identify opportunities to apply generative AI to engineering efficiency and quality.
- Debug complex system-level issues spanning software, OS, networking, middleware, and hardware.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate, test, and deliver robust DRIVE OS capabilities.
