Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the infrastructure behind our growing national organization. Depending on experience, this role may be filled at the Senior Systems Administrator level and will be based in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area to provide West Coast coverage for Atwell’s Technology group.

You’ll work across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware, storage, backup, monitoring, networking, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on systems administration or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, maintain, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Windows services.
• Support Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity services.
• Manage access control following security standards.
• Maintain certificate services and PKI where applicable.
• Develop and maintain standardized OS deployments and software packages.
• Administer VMware vCenter/ESXi and manage virtual machines.
• Monitor VM health, performance, and capacity; assist with upgrades and migrations.
• Administer SAN/NAS storage and permissions; monitor utilization.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain backup platforms (Veeam/Backup Exec/etc.).
• Monitor infrastructure health with monitoring tools; respond to alerts.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Document systems, procedures, and configurations.
• Travel to Atwell offices as needed and participate in after-hours maintenance.
