Job summary

Akina, Inc. in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Systems Administrator 3 to support secure enclave development networks. Responsibilities include testing, SOP documentation, security maintenance, access management, data recovery planning, and system troubleshooting.

The role requires Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware expertise, RMF security understanding, and strong communication. Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph is required, and hybrid collaboration within a close-knit team is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 15 years’ experience OR high school diploma with 20 years’ experience.
• Experience with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with Linux Server Administration and VMware ecosystems.
• Security compliance and RMF awareness; strong problem solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and connectivity testing for operability.
• Develop and document system administration SOPs.
• Maintain baseline system security per policies.
• Manage accounts, access, and rights to systems and equipment.
• Plan and verify data redundancy and recovery procedures.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.
• Enforce local network usage policies and procedures.
• Monitor system resources, performance, capacity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software interfaces and interoperability issues.
