Job summary

GDIT seeks a Systems Administrator SME to advance enterprise IT operations. You will design and implement infrastructure upgrades, manage VMware environments, and provide Windows and Linux administration with STIG-compliant image creation.

You will deploy software packages, mentor junior staff, automate tasks with PowerShell or Bash, and handle AD/GPO/DNS/DHCP. Top Secret SCI + Polygraph eligible; 8570 IAT Level 2 preferred; US citizenship required.

Qualifications

10+ years of related experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and US citizenship.
Security+ certification with 8570 compliance; TS/SCI with CI Poly preferred.

Responsibilities

Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.
Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Creates STIG compliant images for Windows and Linux OS.
Deploys software via SCCM, PDQ, and similar tools.
Mentors Mid and Junior Systems Administrators.
Automates tasks with scripting (PowerShell and/or Bash).
Performs hardware maintenance/repair and supports major projects.
