Job summary

nLogic seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to support mission-focused defense and technology efforts in the New River/Jacksonville, NC area. You will oversee enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services, cybersecurity, and network operations in a collaborative environment.

This role provides technical leadership to ensure availability, security, and reliability of critical systems, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 4+ years OR PhD with 2+ years OR Associate with 8+ years OR High school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience planning, implementing, and managing complex server and network infrastructures.
• Experience designing system architecture and administering VMware, Linux, and cloud environments.
• Experience managing cybersecurity and system protection functions.
• Experience developing automation scripts and process improvements.
• Experience mentoring technical personnel.
• Experience supporting hardware, software, and application environments.
• Experience deploying and maintaining LANs and secure information systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.

This role will play a key part in supporting enterprise infrastructure, virtualization technologies, cloud services, cybersecurity initiatives, and network operations within a collaborative defense and technology environment.

• Experience providing technical leadership and infrastructure oversight

Position Details

• Work Model: Full-Time, Onsite in New River, NC
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required in support of customer requirements
• Work Hours: Standard work hours with occasional support outside normal business hours as required
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance required (or ability to obtain and maintain)
