Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to independently manage enterprise Windows and Linux systems in classified environments. You will serve as escalation point, mentor others, and lead operational work on AD, GPOs, patching, and virtualization.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, Security+ or DoD cert, VMware/Hyper-V experience, strong networking, scripting in PowerShell or Bash, and a track record of secure, well‑documented changes.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification or higher DoD 8140/8570-aligned certification.
• Strong hands‑on Windows and Linux systems administration experience with demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, GPO administration/troubleshooting, enterprise patch management/WSUS, and domain‑connected systems.
• Experience interpreting and remediating DISA STIG findings within secure or regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of VMware, Hyper‑V, or comparable virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or similar administrative scripting.
• Demonstrated ability to independently research and resolve complex technical problems, lead technical work, mentor others, and produce effective documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server/Desktop and Linux systems.
• Manage AD, GPOs, patching, DNS, DHCP, file services, and PKI dependencies.
• Create, test, and troubleshoot GPOs and RSoP.
• Manage WSUS or equivalent patching solutions and remediation.
• Interpret and remediate DISA STIG findings and document impacts.
• Administer and troubleshoot VMware/Hyper‑V environments.
• Troubleshoot across OS, identity, applications, virtualization, storage, certificates, and network dependencies.
• Use PowerShell and Bash for automation and bulk actions.
• Plan and lead system changes, upgrades, migrations with validation and rollback.
• Mentor Junior Administrators and contribute to technical guidance.
