Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an IT Security Engineer to own and maintain classified infrastructure end-to-end, from OS hardening to virtualization management and enterprise service delivery. You will ensure environments remain compliant, resilient, and mission-ready across Windows, Linux, and virtual platforms.

Collaborating with security and engineering teams, you will apply STIGs, manage AD/DNS/DHCP, develop automation with Ansible, and support vulnerability remediation within required timelines

Qualifications

• Experience administering and hardening Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) in classified environments.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere administration, including provisioning and patching.
• Ability to apply and validate STIGs using SCAP/SCC tools.
• Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise patch management.
• Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) and Ansible.
• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux systems, maintaining hardened baselines.
• Manage virtual infrastructure (VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon) including provisioning and patching.
• Apply and validate STIGs using SCAP/SCC tools; document findings and remediation.
• Configure and maintain enterprise services (AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and Ansible playbooks.
• Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and ensure compliance posture.
