Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to provide hands-on IT and systems support in secure enterprise environments. You will support Windows and Linux workstations, hardware, applications, and basic network connectivity, collaborating with seasoned engineers to meet security requirements.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, documentation, and following established procedures while escalating complex issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140/8570-aligned certification.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows desktop OS and troubleshooting.
• Basic Linux command-line and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Familiarity with command-line troubleshooting tools (PowerShell or Bash).
• Understanding of enterprise authentication and domain-connected systems.
• Ability to follow documentation and established procedures; escalation when needed.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for workstation, hardware, application, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows and Linux workstations and peripherals.
• Perform basic systems administration using established procedures and baselines.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and physical connections.
• Install and support approved business and engineering applications.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, and authentication issues and escalate when appropriate.
• Support workstation provisioning, deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Create and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting documentation, and technical work instructions.
• Accurately document work performed and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Maintain accountability of systems, hardware, and equipment within assigned environments.
• Follow security procedures, access controls, configuration requirements, and change-management processes.
• Collaborate with Systems Administrators, Engineers, Cybersecurity, and other teams to resolve issues.
