Job summary

Navstar Inc. in Annapolis, MD seeks a Senior IT Systems Administrator with TS/SCI clearance to support Linux environments and infrastructure monitoring.

You will install, update, and harden Linux OS, manage STIGs, configure network connections, and support Windows AD integration within Linux, while collaborating with senior admins to resolve incidents. Responsibilities include on-call support, IAVA management, documenting processes, and maintaining system reliability across data centers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct, hands-on IT customer service experience.
• Experience with IT/software programs utilizing complex equipment (e.g., switches, routers, LANs, cabling, Windows/Linux OS, VMware).
• Experience implementing STIG requirements and IAVA processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, update, and upgrade Linux OS.
• Configure and manage Linux disk file systems and network connections.
• Analyze and address STIG requirements and IAVA remediation.
• Provide incident response, on-call support, and customer-facing assistance.
