Akima Systems Engineering (ASE), an Akima Company, seeks a Senior Systems Administrator (MCSS/CPOF) to lead, plan, implement, and maintain USARCENT Mission Command Systems and related services. The role supports DDS, CPOF, CPCE, GCCS-A, and interlinks with GCCS-Army/J.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II compliant certification at hire (e.g. CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+, etc.). IAT III certs permissible.
• High School diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience with Mission Command Systems (MCS) and/or Army Battle Command Services (ABCS).
• Must possess or obtain Computing Environment (CE) certification (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware).
• Experience with VMware to build and maintain new virtual machines.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, install, operate and maintain Mission Command Systems and Services (EIO&M).
• Assist the Government with fielded MCSS capabilities (DDS, CPOF, CPCE, GCCS-A) to improve interoperability.
• Provide SME on MCSS including PASS, DDS, Windows servers, MCSS servers, and IAVAs.
• Provide interoperability support for MCSS links to GCCS-A/J and COP integration using CPOF/CPCE, I3, ICSF, AGILE Client.
• Integrate systems with other MCS and joint platform systems.
• Assist in managing MCSS functionality, security, efficiency, and integrity including VM and enterprise servers.
• Conduct monthly ACAS and Nessus scans; perform quarterly IAVA updates per DoD standards.
• Establish Tactical Enterprise services for GCCS-A deployment and maintenance.
• Provide support to DCGS-A, TAIS, AFATDS; provide back-up duties for GCCSA/J admin.
