Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE), an Akima Company, seeks a Senior Systems Administrator (MCSS/CPOF) to join USARCENT G6. You will engineer, install, operate and maintain Mission Command Systems and services, ensuring 24/7 access to enterprise and battlefield systems across the AOR.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required and ability to maintain.
• High School diploma with at least 3 years experience with Mission Command Systems/ABCS.
• Must have an active DoD 8570.01-M IAT II compliant certification at hire; IAT III permitted.
• Must have a Computing Environment certification or be able to obtain one within 6 months.
• Demonstrated experience with VMware, including building and maintaining new virtual machines.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, install, operate and maintain Mission Command Systems and Services, including applications and hardware.
• Assist Government with current and future MCSS capabilities for interoperability.
• Provide SME on MCSS including PASS, DDS, Windows OS/Servers and IAVAs.
• Support interoperability with GCCS-A/J and COP integration across systems.
• Integrate systems with other MCSS and joint platform systems.
• Manage functionality, security, efficiency and integrity of MCSS and enterprise servers.
• Conduct monthly ACAS and Nessus scans.
• Perform quarterly IAVA updates per DoD standards.
• Establish Tactical Enterprise services for GCCS-A deployment.
• Provide support to DCGS-A, TAIS, AFATDS.
• Cover back-up duties for GCCSA/J administration.
