Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE), an Akima Company, seeks a Senior Systems Administrator (MCSS/CPOF) to lead, plan, implement, and sustain USARCENT Mission Command Systems and related services. You will ensure 24/7 access to battle command stacks and support interoperability across platforms.

The role requires active security clearance, DoD 8570 certifications, and VMware experience to manage virtual environments and fielded systems.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• High School diploma with 3+ years in Mission Command Systems/ABCS.
• IAT II certification required; CE cert within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, install, operate and maintain Mission Command Systems and services.
• Support interoperability with GCCS-Army, I3, CPCE, and DDS.
• Provide technical support for MCSS, including PASS, DDS, and fielded servers.
• Maintain security, integrity, and performance of VM and enterprise servers.
• Assist in updating and securing systems per DoD standards.
