Job summary

Nisga'a CIOPS, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of in-house software systems and network connections. You will plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communication links.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, DoD 8570 Baseline certification, and 10+ years of expertise including 4+ years hands-on admin experience; SECRET clearance is required. Occasional remote support to multiple locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification (IAT II or IAT III) required.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining software; securing systems.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Resolves end-user software and connectivity issues.
• Performs capacity and performance analysis and recommends configuration changes.
• Improves efficiency via automated tools and scripts; develops procedures and training.
• Provides end-user training and remote maintenance support across locations.
• Suggests technology direction aligned with business vision.
• Directs other system administrators in day-to-day activities.
• Applies knowledge of application networking, load balancing, fault tolerance.
• Performs vulnerability management.
