Job summary

CACI is seeking a Systems Administrator Lead to guide the DoD IT infrastructure that supports intelligence and mission systems. You will lead Windows and Linux server environments, manage AD and security controls, and mentor junior staff across security enclaves.

Responsibilities include patching, vulnerability remediation, and coordinating with cybersecurity teams to maintain compliant, secure operations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• 10+ years of professional experience in systems administration.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Experience with AD, GPO, and enterprise identity management.
• Experience with network security tools including firewalls and IDS.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience implementing STIGs and DoD security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers across multiple security enclaves.
• Manage AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity systems.
• Enforce STIGs and secure baselines; ensure DoD compliance.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident response.
• Develop system docs: SOPs, diagrams, CMDB.
• Plan patching, vulnerability remediation, and hardening activities.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity staff to implement controls and respond to incidents.
