Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Systems Administrator Lead to bolster enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple security enclaves. You will administer Windows and Linux servers, manage AD/GPO, enforce STIGs, and drive RMF/NIST-800-53 compliance while mentoring junior staff.

Expected to lead deployments, manage security tooling, and coordinate with government customers and cybersecurity teams. This role includes up to 10% local travel and a challenging, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• 10+ years of professional systems administration experience.
• Strong Windows Server and Linux server administration experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise identity management.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection, and anti-virus solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Experience implementing STIGs and security compliance for DoD systems.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Administer Windows and Linux server environments across security enclaves.
• Manage AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise identity systems.
• Enforce STIGs and secure baselines; ensure compliance per DoD RMF/NIST 800-53.
• Troubleshoot incidents; perform root cause analysis and remediation.
• Document systems, procedures, diagrams and CMDB data.
• Plan patching, vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery operations.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams on security controls and events.
• Lead infrastructure projects and staff training; automate tasks with scripts.

Education

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
