Job summary

CSCI Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of a complex IaaS environment. The role focuses on Linux, Windows Server, VMware, and cloud platforms to ensure availability and security.

You will partner with infrastructure teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available technology solutions while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise server environments in production.
• Strong experience with Oracle Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere and virtualized infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Services and related identity management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure environments, including VMware, Oracle Linux, and Windows Server OS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex server and infrastructure issues independently and within SLAs.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support Active Directory Services infrastructure.
• Monitor platform performance, capacity, and health to maximize availability.
• Support cloud-hosted and virtualized infrastructure environments and DR activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain inventories, configurations, and technical documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems.
