Job summary

SCI Summit Consulting, LLC in Lakeland, FL is seeking an IT professional to help prepare our infrastructure for the future. This role handles complex assignments, serves as a technical escalation point for network and systems issues, and provides guidance to less experienced administrators.

You will work across security, network, operations, development, and desktop teams to deliver highly available services, implement secure configurations, and drive improvements in tooling and processes while

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting business-critical applications.
• Experience with Windows and Linux Server OS.
• Experience deploying and maintaining SaaS applications.
• PowerShell is required; Python is a plus.
• Experience with automation tooling and practices.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and third parties.
• Familiar with enterprise networking, firewalls, and subnets.
• Aware of security practices in a secure network environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical expertise to resolve complex infrastructure problems.
• Coordinate hardware and software vendor support.
• Troubleshoot business applications and Server OS in a virtualized environment.
• Manage capacity planning, system performance, and tuning.
• Design, test, and implement new configurations, architectures, and standards.
• Remediate security deviations and vulnerabilities.
• Engage with security, network, operations, development, desktop, and business teams.
• Drive improvements in operational practices, tools, and processes.
• Author technical documentation such as system design procedures.
• Flexible working schedule including up to 3 days remote.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
