Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator I to design, implement, and maintain core infrastructure services across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will drive admin efforts for virtualization, identity systems, and enterprise collaboration, ensuring security, scalability, and operational excellence. The role requires strong troubleshooting, leadership in IT projects, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer-related curriculum with 5 years networking and OS experience, or AA + 6+ years in networking and OS design/maintenance.
• Experience with VPS Windows and Linux server technologies on-premises and cloud preferred.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
• Experience with Office 365/Azure, Hypervisor technologies, and Virtual Desktop technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Must be able to work in a team and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, monitor, and support all OS, applications, and services with focus on high availability and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and design resolutions.
• Lead design and planning for systems, networks, cloud platforms, and peripherals.
• Support critical business initiatives and plan system design.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives (AI, identity federation, hybrid cloud).
• Provide Tier-3 escalation and coordinate with other teams; ensure incident management.
