Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator I to design, implement, and maintain core infrastructure across virtualization, identity, and cloud services.

You will ensure high availability, security, and scalability for enterprise systems, while leading technical effort and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities include incident management, system design, and on-call support, with a focus on AI, hybrid-cloud, and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer related curriculum or AA with relevant experience.
• 5+ years networking and operating system experience (or 6+ years with AA).
• Strong AD/Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and virtualization familiarity.
• Experience with O365/Azure and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support all operating systems, apps, and services with emphasis on HA and DR.
• Lead design and deployment efforts for computer systems, cloud platforms, and peripherals.
• Provide Tier-3 escalation and coordinate with other teams during incidents.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, diagrams, and security-first IT documentation.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policies, and identity federation initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to cross-training and process improvement.
