Job summary

Bedford Borough Council is seeking an experienced System Administrator to support, maintain and develop the Council's core financial management system. The role focuses on security, reliability and future-readiness, working with Finance, suppliers and technical teams to deliver improvements and upgrades.

You will also assist colleagues supporting the HR system and provide ongoing system enhancements and reporting solutions to meet organisational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience administering finance-related systems.
• Ability to lead upgrades, patches and testing.
• Strong incident and problem management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support and develop financial systems and reporting solutions.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for incidents, problems and service requests.
