Job summary

Quoris, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead and optimize our enterprise IT infrastructure across Windows, Linux, cloud, and network environments. This role serves as the senior technical escalation point, driving stability, security, and performance in healthcare IT projects.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multi-platform systems, virtualization, and IAM, while collaborating with stakeholders and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience in a complex IT environment.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience administering virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions and testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure layers.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Manage virtualization infrastructure including VMware or Hyper-V environments.
• Administer and maintain cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Manage network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes and testing.
• Administer endpoint management tools including patch management, software deployment, and device configuration.
• Support and maintain identity and access management systems including Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Implement and maintain security controls, hardening standards, and compliance requirements.
• Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Document systems configurations, procedures, and runbooks.
• Provide senior-level technical escalation support for helpdesk and IT operations teams.
