Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of in-house software systems and network connections. You will plan, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network software and communication links to meet mission requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in information processing, DoD-related environments, and a SECRET clearance, with leadership responsibilities for other admins and ongoing system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification (8570/8140): Category IAT II or IAT III.
• SECRET clearance.
• Ten (10) years specialized experience in Information Processing.
• At least four years of hands-on installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving software issues.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
• Conducts capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Increases system administrator efficiency via automation tools and scripts and conducts training.
• Provides end user training and recommendations on technology direction aligning with business vision.
• Provides local and remote maintenance support for systems at multiple locations.
• Supports upgrades and new installs of servers and applications.
• Directs other system administrators for day-to-day system administration and resource optimization.
• Applies advanced knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Performs vulnerability management.
