Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of in-house software systems and network connections. You will plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize system software, and lead troubleshooting across multiple locations.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, plus DoD experience and a SECRET clearance. Contingent upon award of a bid, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT II or IAT III.
• Ten years specialized experience in information processing across multiple hardware/software.
• At least four years hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving software issues.
• SECRET clearance.
• Computing Environment: Server Admin and Domain Admin roles.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyzes and resolves end-user software and connectivity issues.
• Conducts capacity and performance analysis and recommends changes.
• Increases admin efficiency via automation tools and scripts; trains staff.
• Provides end-user training.
• Advises on technology direction to support business goals.
• Offers local and remote maintenance across multiple locations and systems.
• Supports upgrades and new server/application installs.
• Directs other admins for day-to-day system administration.
• Applies advanced knowledge of application networking including load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Performs vulnerability management.
