Job summary

You will provide frontline user support, manage patching, and coordinate upgrades with application teams. A DoD Secret Clearance is required and U.S. Citizenship is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; 6–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies.
• MS Windows Server installation/configuration experience.
• Active Directory and Group Policy configuration/management.
• Knowledge of Azure, O365, SharePoint and Azure SQL Database.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
• Configure information technology infrastructure in accordance with best practices and DISA STIGs.
• Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems for RMF accreditation packages.
• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks and databases.
• Install software, updates, patches and upgrades.
• Install, configure and manage ADS or Azure DevOps Server repositories.
• Understand and apply software configuration management, build, deployment and release management, and DevOps processes.
• Provide hands-on guidance to programming staff on topics such as branching and merging, workstation configuration, and general use of tools.
• Monitor infrastructure for version currency.
• Coordinate OS, middleware, and database patching and upgrades with teams.
