Job summary

Dealer Tire is seeking a System Administrator to oversee on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, VMware, AD services, and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes security, uptime, and regulatory compliance with 24x7 on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities include managing Microsoft 365, AWS/Azure resources, VMware vSphere, and disaster recovery while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet business objectives and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years Windows server operating systems and applications (2016/2019/2022/2025).
• 3+ years Linux operating systems and applications (Red Hat 7/8, SUSE 15/16).
• Minimum 1 year Citrix experience or equivalent.
• Understanding of Citrix or an equivalent product.
• Experience with MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager).
• Experience with backup software in large server environments.
• Embraces new technology, automation, and AI tools.
• Configure and troubleshoot network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), CA, SSO, Enterprise Apps.
• Maintain AWS and Azure resources; troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure and apps.
• Manage VMware vSphere; monitor health and resolve performance issues.
• Identify and remediate OS and infra vulnerabilities; participate in compliance meetings.
• Install, configure, patch, and manage Linux and Windows OS; support backup/recovery and DR.
• Manage Active Directory users, OUs, GPOs; administer DNS, DHCP, DFS and related services.
• Support Kubernetes clusters on-prem or in cloud; assist with deployment and monitoring.
• Respond to incidents and service requests; document procedures and solutions.
• Collaborate with Network Engineers, Business Analysts, DBAs to meet objectives.
• Maintain uptime metrics; engage vendors for support and license compliance.
• Develop SOPs; promote improvements to infra reliability and performance.
