Job summary

Veracity Engineering is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the management and optimization of the E‑OSE infrastructure with a focus on Cisco networking, Linux environments, virtualization, and Windows administration.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for deploying cutting‑edge technology, with experience in scripting and automation to enhance system management.

Qualifications

• Experience as IT Systems Administrator with network and server administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
• Proficiency in scripting/automation for system management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cisco networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls, APs) and optimize configurations.
• Administer Linux-based servers and perform updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Triage Linux issues, performance, and security incidents; implement automation scripts.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and handle provisioning, monitoring, and DR.
• Administer Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), AD, DNS/DHCP, GPOs.
• Apply security best practices across networks and servers; support IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Document configurations, topologies, and procedures; prepare status reports.
