Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector seeks a Sr Principal Systems Administrator at Edwards AFB, CA to support real-time ground systems for flight operations. You will deploy equipment, configure accounts, and coordinate with engineers to resolve system integration issues in a demanding military setting.

Applicants should hold a high school diploma or higher with extensive systems administration experience and a willingness to work flexible schedules, including extended shifts and on-call coverage

Qualifications

• Must have a higher education degree with multiple years of relevant Systems Administration experience.
• Experience with STIG compliance and MS Office suite is required.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 40 pounds and work flexible hours including on-call status.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support for Ground Systems multi-user computer systems supporting flight operations.
• Configure and manage user, administrator, and service accounts.
• Collaborate with partners to resolve data movement issues between Ground Systems and external systems.
• Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications systems in military environments.
• Maintain on-site end-user systems administration 24/5 with on-call support.
• Update configurations, apply security patches, and coordinate with Responsible Engineers.
