Job summary

Alexton Incorporated is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of in-house software systems and networks. The role covers planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing software and communication links, plus end-user training and both local and remote support across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include vulnerability management, high-availability setups, and ensuring fault tolerance in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in Information Processing; 6+ in diverse disciplines; 4+ hands-on in installing, configuring, maintaining software.
• Privileged access requires security clearance: Secret IA Level IAT I 8570.01-M.
• Baseline certs: MCITP SA/EA, MCSA/MCSE WS2016, MCSA WS2016, MCSM:DS, MCA: WS Directory, GCWN.

SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR:

Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues. Provides end user training. Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. Performs vulnerability management Minimum Experience:

• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
• Security/Certification Requirements: If job duty assignment requires “Privileged” access, must possess the following: 37 Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret IA Level: IAT I 8570.01-M
