My client is looking for a skilled System Administrator III to join their team! In this role, you’ll manage and maintain critical infrastructure, including Windows servers, M365, Zoom, VMware environments, Active Directory, and more. You will not only troubleshoot and support complex systems but also mentor junior administrators and drive innovation in our growing tech landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Provision, install, and maintain Windows servers, M365, VMware environments, and core infrastructure tools.
- Perform daily system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of hardware, resources, and processes.
- Provide Tier II/III support, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Manage Active Directory environments, including GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Sites and Services.
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, patch management, configuration changes, and deployments.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Perform regular audits and capacity planning to maintain a healthy infrastructure.
- Mentor and coach junior System Administrators, overseeing day-to-day team activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed documentation and follow change management and security best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years managing Microsoft domain networks and server hardware environments.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, VMware, M365, Zoom, and Manage Engine.
- Strong skills in Active Directory management (GPO, DNS, DHCP).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Solid understanding of system security principles and certificate management.
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
