Job summary

AZAD Technology Partners seeks a System Administrator for onsite support in Vancouver, WA. The role focuses on hardware lifecycle, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance analysis within a Windows-centric enterprise environment.

The candidate should have 8+ years of IT/system administration experience, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree; 10+ years if no degree. Onsite duties and a strong mix of security tooling and virtualization are required.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8 years of experience required with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in applicable fields.
• 10 years of experience required without an applicable degree.
• Experience performing System Administration in IT environments.
• 2 years of experience with virtualization and converged computer environments.
• Experience managing enterprise Windows infrastructure with Active Directory and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware maintenance lifecycle support and general system infrastructure maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and respond to emergencies; support client operations onsite.
• Perform system energization/acceptance testing and capability trending.
• Maintain and support an enterprise Windows environment with AD, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
• Administrate virtualization technologies including VMWare and Hyper-V.
• Support network and host-based security tools and backups.
