AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a System Administrator to join the Desktop Delivery team in End User Services. The role focuses on packaging desktop software for delivery to end users using multiple methods and technologies.

The position is a 2+ year consultant role, hybrid in Vancouver, WA, with onsite 1 day per week. Pay ranges from $46.00 to $53.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• With degree-related fields, 3 years of experience; without related degree, 5 years required.
• Experience in Information Technology performing System Administration.
• Valid driver’s license or RealID required.

Responsibilities

• Package desktop software applications for delivery using centralized software distribution systems (e.g., ConfigMgr or Intune).
• Perform QA testing and troubleshoot packaging and delivery issues.
• Provide support for end users in enterprise environments and maintain system documentation.
• Work with PowerShell or equivalent scripting tools to automate tasks.

Overview

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a System Administrator located in the Desktop Delivery team of End User Services, Enterprise Technology Operations Services, Information Technology, and the facility. The purpose of this assignment is to package desktop software applications for delivery to end users using multiple methods and technologies.

Position details

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1 day per week. The hourly pay rate for this position is between $46.00 and $53.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• With an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in applicable fields, 3 years of experience is required.
• With an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree not in applicable fields or without a degree, 5 years of experience is required.
• Applicable Certifications may count for 1 year of experience.
• Experience must include direct work experience in Information Technology performing System Administration.
• 1 years' experience with PowerShell (or equivalent scripting tool).
• 1 years' experience packaging desktop software applications for delivery using a centralized software distribution system (Microsoft Configuration Manager or Microsoft Intune).
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and other office automation/production software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.

Preferred skills

• 1+ year of experience packaging and delivering applications via Microsoft App-V or MSIX App Attach
• Preparing desktop software applications for delivery via Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
• Resolving application packaging and delivery issues.
• Conducting thorough Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with commercial and in-house developed software applications.
• Experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 11 in an enterprise environment.
