Job summary

Microchip Technology is seeking a hands-on Senior System Validation Engineer to own silicon bring-up, system integration, and validation of next-generation SoCs. You will design validation infrastructure, develop test plans, and execute complex tests on prototype silicon and firmware, working with hardware, firmware, and lab equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of silicon/SoC validation experience (pre- and post-silicon).
• Strong programming in C/C++ and Python (or Tcl).
• Hands-on lab experience with high-speed test equipment.`,`Demonstrated SoC system-level debug across firmware, hardware, PCB and FPGA environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate prototype SoC hardware and firmware into a complete system solution.
• Develop and execute feature-level tests to validate hardware blocks and firmware.
• Work with pre- and post-silicon platforms and prototype ICs/SoCs.
• Build and maintain validation infrastructure including boards, FPGAs, and test scripts.
• Develop and integrate test firmware into automated suites.
• Lead technical activities and mentor junior engineers.
• Run complex tests in lab environments, on-site and remotely.
• Identify and report bugs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
