Job summary

Overhead Door Corporation is seeking a Senior System Test Manager to lead a team of test engineers ensuring quality across hardware, embedded software, cloud services, and mobile apps. The role focuses on system-level testing, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement.

You will mentor and manage a team, collaborate with product, engineering, and QA, and drive best practices in testing for a connected device ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in system testing, quality assurance, or related roles in connected device or IoT environments.
• 4+ years of experience leading or managing a test engineering team.
• Proven experience testing integrated systems involving hardware, embedded software, cloud services, and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement system test strategies, plans, and methodologies for hardware, embedded software, cloud services, and mobile apps.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of test engineers and promote a high-performing culture.
• Oversee design, development, and execution of test cases for system functionality, performance, and integration.
• Collaborate with product management, hardware/embedded software, cloud, mobile app, and compliance teams to align testing with product goals.
• Drive adoption of test automation tools to improve efficiency and coverage for cloud and mobile apps.
• Provide clear test progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance product quality.
