Job summary

Glydways is seeking a System Test Engineer to develop rigorous, repeatable tests for integrated autonomous transit behavior and production acceptance. You will translate product goals and safety needs into concrete test scenarios, executable procedures, and measurable pass/fail criteria, building evidence for readiness and release discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Robotics, or related field.
• 4+ years of system test, systems integration, or related experience.
• Strong requirements-based testing, traceability, and defect management.
• Ability to analyze logs, telemetry, and data with Python, dashboards, or notebooks.
• Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and clear communication of risk.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles, automated transit, or safety-critical systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with HW/SW test concepts, HIL/ SIL testing (preferred).
• Experience with Jama, DOORS, Polarion, Jira, GitHub (preferred).
• Ability to read/modify/write C/C++ for embedded systems (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Deliver test reports for system verification and validation.
• Develop system-level test scenarios, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Create End-of-Line, production acceptance, and post-rework test procedures.
• Execute tests across simulation, lab, vehicle, and field environments.
• Ensure traceability of tests to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Define pass/fail criteria and document evidence for review.
• Analyze logs, telemetry, dashboards to determine test outcomes.
• Track failures from discovery to closure and verify fixes.
• Improve test procedures, data capture, and reporting workflows.
• Support readiness reviews with documented evidence.
