Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant technical field.
• Strong project management skills across multiple parallel projects.
• 7+ years of engineering experience including at least 5 years in System Safety engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional safety analyses, identify hazards and risks, and define mitigations.
• Support safety design reviews and ensure mitigations meet requirements in fielded systems.
• Provide guidance on safety standards, best practices, and regulatory compliance for Waymo and partners.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechatronics/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields
