Job summary

Sandisk seeks an accomplished Technologist, Product Development Engineering to lead development, qualification, and production readiness of next‑generation memory and storage products. You will influence architecture, validation strategy, test methodologies, and system‑level behavior across silicon, test, firmware, and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate brings deep semiconductor domain expertise, strong programming and data analysis capabilities, and proven technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or related discipline with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics, fabrication processes, electrical characterization, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development, qualification, and production readiness for next‑gen memory/storage technologies from NPI to high‑volume production.
• Define and execute validation strategies aligned with quality, reliability, and manufacturability objectives.
• Own technical readiness assessments, identify risks, and drive mitigation plans for on‑time, high‑quality releases.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct failure analysis, and drive cross‑functional corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with design, firmware, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Develop automation and tooling in Python/C++ and apply AI/ML techniques to test optimization and anomaly detection.
