Job summary
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Principal, System Operations Manager to lead the performance, availability, modernization, and delivery of MMIS and related enterprise services. You will drive ITSM maturity, governance, and cross-functional coordination to ensure secure, compliant operations.
You’ll own system health, escalation protocols, and a high-velocity delivery culture, aligning technical execution with contractual outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in IT systems engineering, operations, or infrastructure leadership (Medicare MIS or healthcare platform preferred).
- 5+ years in technical and service delivery leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in ITIL4, ITSM, and handling complex, regulated environments.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC, and enterprise compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end system availability, performance monitoring, and continuity.
- Lead RCA and permanent corrective actions for major incidents (P1/P2).
- Oversee ITSM processes (incident, change, service requests) and KPIs/SLAs.
- Guide modernization efforts, cloud-readiness, and security controls.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders in governance and reporting.
