Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA seeks a Distinguished Simulation Engineer to design, validate, and maintain dynamic simulations and real-time HIL infrastructure for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems.

You will lead small to mid-size teams, develop CONOPs, and ensure program lifecycle alignment while applying C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink expertise; Master’s degree required, PhD preferred; security clearance required.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of Systems Engineering or related experience.
• Professional software development experience in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Significant experience with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Architect, integrate, verify and validate system-level simulations.
• Develop CONOPs, use cases, and requirements.
• Design a simulation architecture, interfaces, facilities and models.
• Write and automate test plans.
• Lead small to mid-size teams as assigned.
