Job summary

BTS Software Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD, is seeking a System Engineer (Levels I-II) to analyze requirements, lead design activities, and provide technical leadership for DoDAF-based architectures.

The role supports DoD programs with TS/SCI with poly clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance, and a focus on system integration, verification, and documentation across the life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or higher is required.
• Seven (7) years experience as a SE for Level 1; fourteen (14) years for Level 2; additional experience may substitute degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities and provide technical leadership for integration of requirements and design.
• Develop system architecture and design documentation; prepare SE Plans, ICs and test plans.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from reviews; participate in IPTs to design new capabilities.
• Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance and ensure traceability to source requirements.
• Review program WBS, work packages and IMP; ensure formal and proactive change control.
