Job summary

AT&T in Alpharetta, Georgia seeks a Lead System Engineer to define designs, enable subsystems, and drive architectural decisions for complex applications. You will align development teams to a shared technical direction, participate in planning, and help shape the architectural runway for new features.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of post-baccalaureate experience with Jira/Confluence, Python/C#, and cloud tooling.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math.
5+ years progressive post-baccalaureate experience in related occupation.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Experience with Python and C#.
Experience with Robot Framework.
Experience with AWS Batch, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Athena.
Experience with SQL Lite and Snowflake DB.
Experience with JupyterHub.

Responsibilities

Define designs and provide technical enablement for application components and subsystems.
Drive important design decisions for development teams.
Elaborate on design and interfaces for components.
Define subsystems, interfaces, and responsibilities.
Align teams to a shared technical direction and refine solution interfaces.
Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and participate in planning.
Develop Architectural Runway to support new features.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to implement enablers.
Participate in project planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Assist with architectural integration of external components.
