Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Lead System Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to define designs, enable components, and drive key architectural decisions. You will align development teams to a shared technical direction, contribute to the delivery pipeline, and collaborate with portfolio stakeholders and enterprise architects on enablers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience, with heavy use of Jira/Confluence, Python, C#, and cloud/data tools.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math.
5+ years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience with Jira/Confluence and programming in Python/C#.

Responsibilities

Define designs and provide technical enablement for application components and subsystems.
Drive important design decisions for development team and elaborate interfaces.
Define subsystems, allocate responsibilities, and understand deployment requirements.
Align teams to a shared technical direction and validate technology assumptions.
Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and contribute to system design.
Collaborate with stakeholders and architects to realize enablers and architecture.
Participate in project planning, system demos, and retrospectives.
