Neo Group is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You will evolve Infrastructure & Operations toward platform engineering, standardize workflows, and build reusable provisioning capabilities for databases, messaging, secrets, DNS, compute, and environments.

Role requires hands-on Kubernetes production experience, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and strong scripting in Python/Go. You'll collaborate with Dev, SRE, DBA, Security and Infra teams while driving reliability and

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Production Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of production infrastructure, networking and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management, using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Programming or strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Java, Bash or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and observability systems.
• Understanding of secrets management and secure infrastructure access patterns.
• Experience integrating infrastructure systems through APIs.
• Ability to design reusable infrastructure solutions instead of one-off automation.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system issues.
• Ability and willingness to learn new infrastructure and platform technologies.

• Architectural & Technical Design: Contribute to platform and infra service design.
• Reliability & Performance Engineering: Improve reliability and scalability of production infra.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Investigation: Investigate complex infra & prod issues.
• Observability & Diagnostics: Enhance observability and diagnostics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Development, DevOps, SRE, DBA, Security, Infra teams.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Document solutions and usage guidelines.
• Technology Innovation & Developer Experience: Introduce tools improving developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• - Platform Engineering & Transformation: Help evolve Infrastructure & Operations toward a platform engineering model.
• - Workflow Automation & Standardization: Standardize and automate infrastructure workflows and reduce manual provisioning.
• - Core Capabilities & Provisioning: Build reusable infrastructure capabilities for databases, messaging, secrets, DNS, compute, monitoring, and application environments.
• - Internal Tooling & Lifecycle Management: Develop internal tooling, APIs, and declarative workflows for infrastructure lifecycle management.
• - Ecosystem & Tooling Integration: Improve integration between Kubernetes, CI/CD, networking, secrets management, databases, and observability systems.
• - Architectural & Technical Design: Participate in architecture and technical design of platform and infrastructure services.
• - Reliability & Performance Engineering: Improve reliability, scalability, and operational simplicity of production infrastructure.
• - Troubleshooting & Incident Investigation: Investigate complex infrastructure and production issues across Linux, networking, applications, and distributed systems.
• - Observability & Diagnostics: Improve observability, diagnostics, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Development, DevOps, SRE, DBA, Security, and Infrastructure units.
• - Documentation & Best Practices: Standardize common infrastructure solutions and document how they should be implemented and used.
• - Technology Innovation & Developer Experience: Evaluate and introduce technologies that improve developer experience and infrastructure efficiency.

Requirements
