Job summary

TripleScreen Search & Staffing is seeking a hands‑on Systems Engineer for a hybrid role local to Philadelphia. You will design, deploy, and support VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter across data centers, manage Windows Server infrastructures, and maintain Hyper‑V environments.

You will collaborate with Network, Security, and DevOps teams, create runbooks, participate in on‑call rotations, and help improve monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Infra Engineering experience.
• Deep VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter expertise.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Hyper‑V environments and data center ops.
• Scripting in PowerShell/PowerCLI, Python or Bash.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.

Responsibilities

Join a highly technical infrastructure engineering team responsible for designing, supporting, and scaling enterprise virtualization and data center environments. This is a hands‑on role for a Systems Engineer who enjoys working across Windows Server, VMware, physical infrastructure, and highly available production environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments across multiple data centers.
• Administer Windows Server infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Support Microsoft Hyper‑V environments and hybrid virtualization platforms.
• Implement and maintain Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) and high‑availability solutions.
• Participate in data center operations including rack & stack, hardware installation, power supplies, cabling, and physical server troubleshooting.
• Respond to on‑site incidents and perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Develop infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, documentation, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, performance, and capacity planning.
• Participate in an engineering on‑call rotation supporting mission‑critical systems.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering experience

Deep VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter expertise

Experience with Microsoft Hyper‑V environments

• Physical servers

• Hardware troubleshooting

Experience with load balancing technologies, preferably F5 BIG‑IP / LTM. Experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC or similar Application Delivery Controller (ADC) platforms will also be considered.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and high‑availability architectures

Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC)

Scripting experience with:
