Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Systems Engineer - MPCS Validation to support validation of Modular Power Conversion System technologies used in microgrid and energy storage solutions. You will develop validation plans, execute test strategies, and collaborate with Controls, Software, Electrical, Quality, and Cybersecurity teams.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with hands-on CANape/CANalyzer and MATLAB/Simulink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience (internships considered).
• Hands-on experience with Vector Tools (CANape, CANalyzer) and MATLAB/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system validation plans and test strategies.
• Support HIL, integration, endurance, laboratory, and field testing activities.
• Validate software releases, firmware updates, controls, communications, and HMI functionality.
• Perform system troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Controls, Software, Electrical, Quality, and Cybersecurity teams.
• Support product development and NPI gateway milestones.
