Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a senior Power Systems Engineer to lead end‑to‑end studies for microgrid projects, ensuring grid Code compliance and robust protection strategies. You will model RAM, validate with SIL/HIL, and collaborate across control, firmware, and commissioning teams.

The role requires 3–7+ years in power systems, hands‑on experience with PSCAD/PSS(E)/DIgSILENT and strong English communication. Travel up to ~15% is expected as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
3–7+ years of experience in power system studies, protection engineering, validation, and/or RAM modeling.
Hands‑on experience with PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory; familiarity with ETAP/CYME; real‑time validation tools.

Responsibilities

Perform RMS and EMT‑level studies for microgrids and inverter‑dominated systems.
Evaluate inverter dynamics, grid interconnection, and protection coordination.
Develop RAM models and perform Monte Carlo analyses for availability and reliability.
Create SIL/HIL test environments and support pre‑deployment verification and commissioning.
