Paper Transport, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to own critical platforms including Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure, Active Directory and Windows Server.

You will manage virtualization, backups, monitoring and security tooling, while driving infrastructure improvements. You’ll tackle day-to-day support, complex troubleshooting, and project work, collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, secure systems and scalable automation.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on systems engineering or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong depth across M365, Entra ID/Azure, AD, Windows Server, virtualization, backup, monitoring and security tooling.
• Understanding of identity security, access control, patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, logging, and incident response support.
• Experience with PowerShell, automation, documentation, change management, and project implementation preferred.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, Security+, VMware, ITIL preferred.

• Own administration and daily health of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure, AD, Windows Server, virtualization, backup and monitoring platforms.
• Strengthen security controls across identity, cloud, endpoint and server environments including MFA, conditional access and patching.
• Monitor performance, capacity, backups, service health and availability; identify issues before they impact business.
• Provide advanced level troubleshooting for infrastructure, apps, incidents and complex issues.
• Lead or support infrastructure projects, cloud initiatives, upgrades and hardware refreshes.
• Build documentation, runbooks and automation to improve reliability and supportability.

PTI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who wants hands‑on ownership of the platforms that keep a modern transportation business moving. This role supports and improves critical server, cloud, identity, security, backup, and infrastructure systems across Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, virtualization, and related enterprise tools. The right person is technical, security‑minded, and comfortable moving between day‑to‑day support, complex troubleshooting, project work, and long‑term infrastructure improvement.

What You’ll Do:

• Own administration and daily health of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, virtualization, backup, monitoring, and related infrastructure platforms.
• Strengthen security controls across identity, cloud, endpoint, and server environments, including MFA, conditional access, privileged access, patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint protection coordination.
• Monitor performance, capacity, backups, service health, and availability; identify issues before they become business‑impacting problems.
• Provide advanced level 2/3 troubleshooting for infrastructure, business applications, escalated incidents, and complex technical issues.
• Lead or support infrastructure projects, cloud initiatives, upgrades, hardware refreshes, tool implementations, and process improvements.
• Build documentation, runbooks, PowerShell scripts, and automation that make systems more reliable, repeatable, and easier for the team to support.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in systems engineering, systems administration, IT infrastructure, cloud administration, or related technical work.
• Strong technical depth across Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, virtualization, backup, monitoring, and security tooling.
• Practical understanding of identity security, access control, patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, logging, and incident response support.
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to work through complex infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, network, and application issues.
• Experience with PowerShell, automation, documentation, change management, and project implementation preferred.
• Relevant Microsoft, Security+, VMware, ITIL, or equivalent certifications preferred.
