Job summary

HP, Inc. is seeking a 3LS Quality Engineer to serve as the highest technical escalation authority, partnering with R&D, ODMs, vendors, and product engineering to resolve complex issues escalated from global customer support.

The role requires expert-level capability in system-level debugging across hardware, OS, drivers, firmware, and applications, delivering scalable, permanent solutions that improve product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering or related fields.
• Experience operating at principal/enterprise scope and with OEM/ODM ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex field issues as final escalation point.
• Lead system-level debugging across hardware, OS, drivers, firmware, and applications.
• Perform deep root cause analysis and define corrective actions for systemic issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, ODMs, silicon vendors, and suppliers to fix defects.
• Document escalations using 8D, RCA reports, and defect tracking systems.
