Job summary

HP is seeking a 3LS Engineer to act as the highest technical escalation authority, partnering with R&D, ODMs, vendors, and product engineering teams to resolve the most complex issues escalated from global customer support.

The role requires expert-level system-level debugging across hardware, OS, drivers, firmware, and applications, leading deep root cause analysis and delivering scalable, permanent solutions that improve product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of quality engineering/relability/system debugging experience.
• Experience at enterprise scale with OEM/ODM ecosystems and silicon vendors.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Windows Client/Server or CompTIA A+.
• Experience analyzing system logs and kernel/user-mode dump files.

Responsibilities

• Resolve highly complex issues escalated from global customer support.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement permanent scalable fixes.
• Partner with R&D, ODMs, vendors, and product engineering.
• Communicate findings clearly to executives and teams.
